Redwood essence is among my favorites. I have an affinity with this majestic and mysterious tree, naturally vibrating toward its meditative expression, finding such stillness and peace in the redwoods. One of my happiest places is to be hiking in the Redwoods. I feel no fear, I feel light and multidimensional, as if I am larger, my boundaries move beyond my skin. I experience such a delicious feeling inside of myself, a sense of assurance, confidence. I feel connected to all life everywhere.

The deeper way of intimately knowing the trees accelerated during our trip to make the Redwood essence in January of 1992. As Richard and I walked toward a tree which was calling us, suddenly the sun broke through the clouds, with shafts of light streaming earthward, water droplets glittering like diamonds, hanging suspended in air, like tiny rainbow fluttering hummingbirds. Taking in a deep breath, I was awe struck by the primordial beauty of the forest, it's mystery easily wrapping around us like a cloak of divine presence. In that moment, I understood the qualities of this essence.

Redwood essence is about seeing the larger picture while being grounded in the abiding heart, which is deep in the love of all things. It allows the larger picture to be seen from the heart, from the place of enduring love - from the center of Self. It speaks in a language which bypasses the busy mind of schemes and ideas.

There is a natural quieting process which takes place with this essence, allowing you to see the larger picture in your life, in the world around you, in the universe - helping to put your life in perspective. And because you can see the larger picture, this is a wonderful essence for meditation and dream work. As it naturally stills the mind, you begin to resonate and drop deeply into Self, into the sacred groves of stillness.

Taking this essence is like being in the Redwoods - and once you've experienced the groves, you keep returning, coming back to Source. Regardless of how many times we visit our favorite Redwood groves, I enter a timeless realm - existence becomes magical, I dance in delight, my soul ecstatically and vibrantly expands, it sings arias as all around me becomes a mystical realm, exquisite, alive, pulsating with light.

The Redwood essence allows the possibility of opening to a larger reality where all creation exists in bliss and harmony.
