OKLAHOMA CITY

The latest random acts of terror have sent psychic tremors throughout the heartland of America, and throughout the world.

We, here in America, are all saddened, shocked, expressing in various ways our confusion, fear and sense of powerlessness... Many of us call for an immediate apprehension of "the terrorists" and a tightening of security throughout the land... Others, a small minority, call for reason and compassion in response to yet another human tragedy...

As a physician and founder of THE LIGHT PARTY, I too am saddened by the tragic loss of life, and the innocent suffering this act has brought to all of us... After acknowledging and processing my own pain and sorrow at this horrific incident, I chose to look more deeply into the causation of this act of terror... I tried to discern how and why this occurred...

I feel there is a tremendous opportunity here for all of us to look more deeply into ourselves... To confront, acknowledge and compassionately accept "the terrorist" within our own self... For in truth, all world events, "positive" and "negative" are co-creative acts which reflect the thoughts, feeling and images which we individually and collectively project onto the screen of life...

We are becoming progressively aware that the historical process is but the reflection and manifestation of our (humanities) collective beliefs, attitudes and feelings which we hold true about ourselves, each other (including institutions), nature and the cosmos... In plain English, the universe, which is governed by immutable laws, is continually re-arranging itself to fulfill our individual and collective attitudes and images which we hold within our individual and collective mind(s)...

In light of this awareness we need to compassionately realize that on some level of our being, we co-created this event together...

Prior to learning about the Oklahoma story, I spent the day walking in Central Park in New York City... I was profoundly aware and deeply appreciative of the serenity and peace I was experiencing in the heart of New York... I realized that experience was a result of all the collective prayers and meditations which occurred over the Easter/Passover weekend...

The peace, the love and the light was palpable and I was overjoyed with a profound sense that a remarkable shift in consciousness had indeed occurred... Until the latest news story intruded my psychic space... Back to "reality"!...

Wanting to know more, I picked up the New York Times and examined a bird's eye view photograph of The Federal Building... 1/3 of it's structure gutted... Blown away... How prophetic, symbolic and revealing!... A picture worth a thousand words...

Is it coincidental that a federal building was decimated in light of the fact that:

 We, Americans, have been vociferously calling for a major reduction in the power of the federal government in our lives...

 Many Americans are outraged and frustrated with the current tax system... And the entrenched bureaucracy which appears to be insensitive to the will of the people...

 Incendiary talk-hate radio has been incessantly filling the air-waves with (mis)-information regarding the individual and collective corruption and/or incompetence of our "elected" officials...

 The federal government's recent "mis-management" of the Waco Texas holocaust?!...

OKLAHOMA CITY IS A MAJOR WAKE-UP CALL FOR US AND AMERICA!

It's time to check-in with ourselves and become more responsible about how we really feel regarding the payment of taxes and the progressive concentration and imbalance of wealth and power that is occurring here in America... Let us own the anger/rage, frustration/hatred that we harbor within, transform it, and compassionately embody a new attitude toward the federal government, it's employees and each other...

Fear generates more fear/tragedy, while love generates more love, life, freedom, joy and creativity... Our individual and collective mental/emotional nature(s) not only determine our own state of health, but determines the health of our nation... Indeed, the mood of the nation is emotionally volatile, subject to manipulation, and yet the opportunity for progressive non-violent reform is greater now than ever before...

In light of this awareness (the awareness being that our attitude is a reflection of our state of consciousness) is it surprising that there is so much violence here in America today (as we sow, so shall we reap)...??

It is my observation that much of our beloved nation is addicted to violence... We are spoon-fed with incessant mindless violence on television (sponsored by multi-national corporations), we witness violence and excessive competition in sports, profound cruelty toward animals, rampant domestic violence, etc...

We flood our biological systems with the excessive consumption of chemically treated "foods"... (many wholistic health care providers are aware of the relationship between diet to behavior)... We carry over 200,000,000 hand guns and continue to choose to arm the world with weapons of mass destruction... ($36 billion in arms sales last year)... and let us not forget the ultimate terror which we have all co-created together... The threat of nuclear annihilation and/or ecological genocide...

All of us, either consciously or unconsciously, are aware of these truths... Most of us choose to live in denial... Most of us continue to poison our minds and bodies with "pseudo-nutrition," various legal and "illegal" drugs, and choose to infuse our minds with the latest high-tech distractions and/or the latest horrific new stories and soap operas... Indeed we are the co-creators of our individual and collective realities... Many of us have chosen to co-create a culture here in America, which is adolescent in it's focus, materialistic in it's attitude, and greedy in it's need to accumulate wealth and power...

We are desperately seeking security from without... However, we all know on some level of our being that real happiness and true fulfillment occurs through our acknowledgement and understanding of our inner-being, and our personal relationship to the primal will to good (G-O-D)...

Oklahoma City is providing us all with an unprecedented opportunity to become more conscious and progressively aware of the nature of reality, and how we all co-create "The News"... The Good News Now Is That We Have A Grace Filled Opportunity To Move Effortlessly From The Frequency of Fear Into The Frequency Of Freedom... It is incumbent upon all of us now to seek higher ground (The Spiritual Path), and commune with the light of infinite love, peace and freedom which resides within the heart-core of our being(s)...

Let us learn from OKLAHOMA CITY and may we all come HOME to the OM within... O.K.? Let us all compassionately empower each other to move into the light of progressive awareness and higher consciousness... And co-create "Health, Peace and Freedom for All"... Through this process, we will know that everything is A.O.K.!
