This encyclopedic site interprets ancient spiritual teachings and religious belief-systems within a modern context. Rene K. Muller of Switzerland is both the webmaster and editor of this huge (1,862 document) site, which is not biased toward any specific religious movement. Rather, it provides an overview of a wide variety of spiritual systems. The shear wealth of information available here makes this site worth checking out. Topics on the site include: channelings, lightwork, UFO phenomena, healing methods, reincarnation, yoga, theosophy, and astrology. Another valuable aspect of this site is the Spirit Web chat service that they offer for sharing your thoughts with others of like mind. The public chats - many of which are quite active - are broken down by planetary power spots, such as Machu Pichu and Stonehenge. Although each chat group forms under the rubric of a specific topic, nobody seems to pay much attention to this, so things can become a bit unfocused. The reserved places - such as Solace (for discussions on grief and the loss of a loved one) and Sanctuary (for discussions on domestic violence and emotional abuse) - are more specific, and may be more focused, as they require special permission to enter.
