THE STATE OF THE UNION IS OUR OWN REFLECTION

We come forth at this time in order to discourse upon several issues of national import which call for closer examination. As you know, we do not judge what is taking place upon your planet. However, we wish to pass on ourobservations, some advice and an exercise which will aid in bringing you >greater clarity. >We would offer that your affairs of state perhaps may be best viewed as if >they were a giant mirror reflecting to you the state of the human condition >in your country. Look deeply into the mirror, dear ones, and as you gaze at your reflection ask if you are without blemish. Are you capable of seeingyourself, perhaps some aspects you would rather not face? Are you willing totake a hard and realistic look at yourself? We would suggest that you focus your energy on perfecting your own beingness and refrain from finger pointing. The purpose of our commentary is to bring several issues to your attention and then leave you to your own reflection upon them.

Manifesting Leaders
There is a great underlying issue bubbling up into your awareness concerning the quality of leadership in your country. Ponder this, dear ones. You are already well into the process of electing your next president. Believe not for a moment that you need not concern yourselves with this event because it is more than two years away for by the thoughts that you are sending out to the ethers, you are drawing forth the candidates who will represent those qualities you resonate with and who will offer themselves up for you to choose among them. You must determine first what those qualities are and then who will best embody them Go deep within and search out what is important to you spirituallymentally, emotionally and physically. Each of these levels or bodies are >important and will provide their own answers. Determine further when it is >ego talking to you and when it is spirit. Discrepancies? Oh, yes, beloveds. The qualities of those in leadership positions translate into policies and eventually find their way into the laws of your land. Remember that these offices and the persons who inhabit them are only reflections of your desires which are set into motion long before you go through your election process at the third dimensional level.

Remember that virtually everything in your world is a mirror to you. The state of your state and your institutions are a direct reflection of the state of your national mind. And who makes up this national mindset? All of you, of course. This brings us to another point. If in your examinations you find that you do not like what is being reflected back to you, then know that you have the power to change your outer world. And of course immediately we hear you say "But how can I, only one little person, change what happens in my country, much less the world?" The answer is simple, deaones. Note that we did not say "easy." Change yourself. How? Through understanding that you have co-created with the rest of the beings in your country the state of affairs that is evidenced now. Accept this. Before you can change anything, you must first own your creations. It is only through acknowledging and accepting your part in the total creation that change can then be brought about.

Changing the Manifested Reality
Change does not occur through denial, by pushing what you don't like down into the subconscious. That does not solve anything for creation is at work here, too. It is a very curious thing that happens when you endeavor to suppress something you do not wish to deal with into the subconscious. It grows. The "out of sight, out of mind" philosophy does not work the way you think it does for your thoughts are creative and seek expression always. If at the personal level you refuse to deal directly with them, they must go somewhere as they are in motion. So they travel out into the universes, gathering like thoughts unto them and at some point they return to you magnified. So now your issue has become larger than it was in the first place due to your refusal to deal with it. You do not, of course, see this process at work.

Only when it returns to you once again for your acknowledgment do you suddenly realize that it has somehow grown larger than when you first pushed it under the surface. You think you are on a lean diet, carefully selecting only what you will digest and ignoring the rest. Be aware, however, that you are creating platefuls of stuff which you will need to digest later. Now weknow that this is a very simple explanation for a rather complex process but we are pointing out that your task is to become conscious co-creators.

So now you have before you a prime example of how large something can grow when one tries to push under the issue at hand. These are the times for ownership of your creations, individually and collectively, and through the events transpiring at the highest levels in your land, you are witnessing how something can grow perhaps even out of proportion because of a refusal to state the simple truth at the outset. We are not pointing fingers at any oneperson in particular because denial of your creations is so prevalent in your society. However, we are stating that you now have before you a prime example evidencing through many individuals of how something grows when efforts are focused on covering up or denying the manifestations of one's creative power.Dear ones, you are fast moving into the time when there will be no more secrets. We have spoken of this so often and yet we wonder if you believe us since we view your lack of response. Individually and collectively your subconscious minds are gradually disappearing for the subconscious mind is in the process of becoming conscious. No longer will it be the repository of your unwanted creations. These are and will continue to come forth for processing. There are no shortcuts or ways around this. So we say to you, beloveds, in the kindest way that we can: deal with your stuff now. Work through the pain, the guilt, the shame, the fear, the whatever. As you do so, you will lighten up not only yourself but the entire mass consciousness of your country and create manifestations more in line with the parameters of the Age of Aquarius.

It is time for you to examine your hearts and your consciences and make your choices with awareness and then to take responsibility for them. Gone are the days when you can plead ignorance or blame everyone else for the situations in which you find yourselves. As the status quo continues to be shaken to its core, you will be given example after example and option afteroption, always asking the questions "What will you choose? What do you choose?"

Examining the Laws
What kind of a country and world will you create for your experiencing in your so-called future? At all levels, the laws of the land which are currently on the books will also come under close scrutiny as you move through the fourth dimension for too many of them were made with the head, the intellect, and did not provide for the inclusion of the heart perspective. As you continue your evolution, it will be evidenced that the considerationsof the heart need to be included to bring about the desired balance within your legal system. Therefore, many of your laws will be amended to include the "heart perspective" or even rescinded entirely as not befitting the new paradigm into which you are moving, both personally and as a society.

Perhaps you could even draw the analogy of the New Testament modifying the rules, regulations and laws set forth in the Old Testament because the societies of the times were being held back by the old paradigms. The Old Testament principles governing behavior were based on fear. The New Testament set forth behavior standards based on love. You are still working out the conflict between these two great sets of beliefs. Ponder: the more you move into love, the less law you need for you become self-regulated rather than other-regulated.

Perhaps the greatest thing now missing from most of your laws is compassion and this is one of the most outstanding qualities that is characteristically developed at the fourth dimensional level. It is this quality that will be the motivator in bringing the laws into an alignment with the parameters of the New Millennium. Remember that the rules, regulations and laws under which you live are only the reflections of what you desire as a society. Old Problems and the Media Many many opportunities will be provided for you to approach old problems in new ways. Gradually the focus will shift to solutions instead of merely deterrents which you are already discovering are not very satisfactory. Your prisons will continue to be overcrowded and your public funds drained until you are willing to deal with the underlying issues. The band-aid approach tosolving problems won't work much longer for everywhere they are being loosened from the fabric or skin of society revealing wounds that have been festering rather than healing.

Yet another opportunity, dear ones, to look into the mirror and examine deeply how you truly feel about the problems confronting your medical, legal, economic, social, and religious systems. Regarding this latter category, ponder this. The purpose of religion is control of the self by others. Spirituality is for control of the self by the Self. If you wish to accept what others think and believe, be religious. If, on the other hand, you wish to become free, pursue spirituality. Put another way, what will you choose, dear ones? Will you be mastered by or masters of your destiny?

Being completely honest with yourselves and others and being impeccable in all your dealings are necessary components of the space/time continuum into which you are moving. To behave otherwise provides endless grist for your media mills which so delight in using this as fodder with which to feed the mass consciousness. There will be abundant examples of what one of your media moguls called "poster boys for bad behavior" displayed for your review.

And we hasten to add here that this is not gender specific so there will be plenty of female examples as well. It is all part of the clearing of the mass consciousness. It would be wise for you to remember that the media, too, has a role to play >in bringing matters into your awareness. In fact, they are the ones helping >to remove the band-aids. They are bringing air and light to the wounds and >no matter what you think of the methodology of certain individuals, overall >they are performing a great service for the world.

When the media begins to also report the miracles and wonders which are starting to take place around your planet, then you will begin to understan that what you are witnessing is a balancing out of the positive and negative polarities which is underway. As you bring yourselves into balance on theinner levels, your outer world will start to reflect that. Ponder this, dear ones. If you were a perfect society, there would be no problems, no secrets, no paradoxical situations, no controversies or such for the media to report, now would there?

Conscious Creating
Again look in the mirror and ask: Who are my heroes and why do I regard them so? Male or female, what are the qualities I see in them which influence me to perceive them as my heroes? Are they related to the material plane and of the ego or are they of the spiritual planes and expressions of the soul? your heroes reflect to you who you perceive yourself to be in the physical world and the level of your spiritual growth.

At the subconscious level you have always created your reality. With the merging of the subconscious with the conscious mind, you are now being forcedto look at your creations. Through your desires and actions and/or inactions, you have created everything in your life from your family unit anyour immediate environment to the state of your governing bodies in your country and even the world. If you don't like what is being mirrored to you through the events taking place on your planet, take responsibility for your role as co-creator and then you can effect changes.

But first turn your attention to what is already in effect, perhaps through asking questions such as follows.

• What do you want from your social structures?
• What do you want from the varying layers of government at the local,state and national levels?
• What do you expect from your leaders in these areas?
• What do you want from your religious institutions and the leaders thereof?
• What do you want from your system of justice?

And there are more. Discern from your own evaluation if your needs and expectations are being met.

Evolution Through Inertia
We present an exercise for your consideration. Ask your angelic presence, your soul and/or your Higher Self to be your guides for this exercise. Placeyourself in a light meditative state and tell your guides that you wish to project yourself to the year 2020. Ask your guides to take you there and to provide the appropriate setting. Assume the role of the observer and that no one has taken any action mentally or physically to change anything that is in effect now or that has been put into motion as the planet heads down its evolutionary path. Allow your guides to select the scene to show you the answer to each question as it is asked. They may present a different setting for each question. Be open to what is presented to you. You are an observerof a possible reality.

• o What is family life like in the year 2020?
• o What kind of education are the children receiving?
• o What is being taught in the churches and synagogues?
• o What is the status of your environment?
• o What kind of political system is in place?
• o What kind of leadership is guiding the country?
• o What is happening with the economy, the banks and so on?
• o What kind of justice is being meted out?
• o What is happening in the medical community?
• o What is the ethical climate of the country?
• o Has the general populace gained or lost personal power?
• o What is happening in the world? Is there war or peace?
• o What is the level of fear in the mass consciousness?
• o How does this reality make you feel?

Then ask your guides if there is anything else they want to show you. After that allow them to return you to the present moment. Take time to write downyour impressions.

You have observed the results of the "I'm too busy or tired or whatever the excuse. Let George or Jane do it." We would characterize this as attemptinga path of evolution through inertia and would point out that civilizations have actually de-evolved in this manner. The decline of the Roman Empire comes to mind.

Evolution Through Catalyst LIGHT PARTY

Now for the second part of this exercise, assume that you have banished the "let George do it" attitude and through guidance from your soul and Higher Self you have discovered your role in the Divine Plan and are carrying out your pre-incarnational agreements to the best of your ability. Or at least you are doing whatever you can to make the world a better place whether it is through prayer, meditation or simply lending a helping hand to a friend or neighbor. In other words, you are a participant rather than just an observer.

Again ask your angelic presence, your soul and/or Higher Self to serve as your guides and take you to the year 2020 and let you view it from the perspective of having been an involved being, doing what you could do to change the status quo. Ask the same questions as before and when you return, take time to write down your thoughts about what you've experienced. Then compare your writings and note the differences.

The point of this exercise was to show you the results of action versus nonaction or catalyst versus inertia. Is the difference enough to give you some impetus for taking a pro-active role in the future of your country and your planet? What will you co-create in your new awareness? What will you >bring into your experiencing? The forces of darkness would have you follow the philosophy of "I'm only one person. What I think or say or do doesn't matter." We strongly caution you about falling into their trap for you are powerful beyond belief. For further contemplation, we urge you to recall the rise and fall of Hitler's Third Reich and how inertia let it rise and catalyst finally ended it.

The dark forces always seek to disempower you. They influence you at the subconscious level persuading you to use your free will to choose inertia ornonaction rather than catalyst or action. In that way they seek to control you.

We would remind you that the Inertia path leads to disempowerment and slavery. The path of Catalyst empowers you and eventually allows you to set yourself free.

Victim or Victor?
No one is a victim of another. People only become so-called victims of their own choices. The state of victimhood is focused on blaming others for your predicaments. When you take on the mantle of responsibility for your actions and manifestations and move into the role of co-creator, victimhood falls away from your experiencing.

Know that with your thoughts, words and deeds you create your reality. You are in charge. So once again we return to the questions What do you want to experience? What do you choose? Will you choose the path of inertia or catalyst? Do you choose to play the role of victim (the blame game) or victor (the co-creator)?

Will the planet and her inhabitants shift into the fifth dimension? That is not a given at this point, particularly if you choose to do nothing, if you choose to refrain from becoming involved in the process and rely on others to do it for you. It will take great and continued effort on your part to successfully navigate through the ever increasing polarities and churning waters of consciousness of the fourth dimension.

As you know, this is a free will planet and so we do not interfere in your creative process but from time to time, we do come forth and provide guidance where we feel it is needed and to the degree it is allowed. We cannot choose for you. That is not our agency since we are not incarnate with you but we can point the way for you and this we do with the utmost care and love. Be courageous and tireless in your pursuit of truth, justice and those so-called demons lingering in your subconscious. They are standing at the threshold of your conscious mind. How will you greet them? And then what will you do with them?
