CHARACTER ANALYSIS OF JOHN McCAIN (Disturbing)
Ample evidence now indicates that John McCain is not the “gentlemanly,” “statesmanlike,” “heroic” or
even decent person he postures at being, an image that the mainstream
media have aided and abetted in creating over the years. The true “Jekyll & Hyde” picture
of McCain that emerges from those who have come to really know him
(see below) is that he is anarrogant, rash, divisive, unloving, deceptive,
elitist, pro-greed, shallow-thinking, sexist, bellicose super-hawk
andpathological liar, a deeply disturbed “authoritarian personality” with
very little empathy, intelligence, good judgment or virtue, and with
a huge anger problem whose many flaws frighten a growing number of
longtime fellow Republicans!
In the past I have appreciated a few of McCain’s public positions—e.g.,
his stand against earmarks (pork spending) and Big Tobacco, and his
efforts (albeit only lukewarm) to bring the urgent issue of campaign
finance reform to the fore.Nevertheless, the picture that emerges in
this collection of articles, including pieces from leading Republicans
and former associates of McCain, should convince any sane, ethical
person that John McCain, while he is loveable as a dear soul and fellow
human being, must NEVER be allowed to gain the presidency of the USA.
Contrary to the long spouted cry that the major media
are “liberal” (they
are on lifestyle issues but not on the political-economic-military
issues that really matter), the plain fact is that most big newspapers
over the decades have always or almost always endorsed Republicans,
not Democrats. But not this election! For instance, the Chicago Tribune
and Los Angeles Times (usually falsely thought to be “liberal”),
admit that they have never endorsed a Democrat, yet this time they
are solidly behind Obama over McCain.
By the way, given that religion and politics have
been disturbingly mixed up over the last several elections, for all
those conservative
Southern Baptists and other (right-wing) Evangelicals out there who
have naively adopted the Republican Party as their own (ignoring the
fact that the GOP routinely TRAMPLES Jesus’ extensive teachings
about “the social gospel” and justice for the poor and
disfranchised), these so-called “Christians” should realize
that McCain-- besides often having fallen into several of Christianity’s “seven
cardinal sins” (pride, wrath, greed, lust)-- is an inveterate
gambler and big-timepromoter of the “sinful” gambling industry,
and, of course, he is married to a woman identified with and profiting
hugely from the equally “sinful” alcohol industry. By all
these standards, and the fact that McCain is not known to be a devoutly
religious or spiritual man, why aren’t all Christians of all
political parties voting for the obviously much more spiritual-minded
and practicing Christian, Barack Obama?
PLEASE SEND THIS COMPILATION OF SEVERAL ARTICLES TO ANY “SWING
VOTERS,” REPUBLICANS, and CRAZY DEMOCRATS STILL THINKING OF VOTING
FOR JOHN McCAIN!
